This is a unique opportunity to join one of the global SAP consulting leaders as Country Manager for Japan.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- People management
- Lead, develop and grow consulting team locally and regionally.
- Ensure the well-being and professional fulfilment of the local team.
- Enhance local company culture and make Westernacher Consulting an attractive employer in Japan.
- Support talent selection, recruitment and onboarding.
- Business Development and Profitability:
- Ensure the success and profitability of the local entity.
- Help Westernacher grow its market share in Eastern Asia in Supply Chain Execution and mid-market E2E digitalization services
- Network and manage relationships with local and regional customers, SAP & other stakeholders. Act as senior expert and local face to the market, key customers and partners.
- Participate in global steering committee.
- Work closely with other key stakeholders – Regional Operations East Asia
- Reporting Lines and people management:
- This position reports to Regional Operations East Asia
- The position is the disciplinary lead of the local consulting team (local legal responsibility).
Your expertise
- Strong management &leadership expertise of cross-functional and international teams
- Proven track-record in SAP sales and business development locally and regionally.
- Minimum 10 years of industry/consulting experience of implementing or selling SAP solutions.
- Very good communication, presentation and sales skills
- Results and execution-focused, with a positive, “can-do”attitude
General requirements
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree
- Fluent English
- Available to travel up if the role requires it
