SAP MM Solution Architect with German
As a Solution Architect SAP MM at Westernacher, you will lead the design of end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Procurement solutions based on SAP Materials Management. You will translate business strategies and transformation goals into scalable, integrated SAP solution designs and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of end-to-end SAP solution architectures across S/4HANA Procurement
- Translate business strategies and transformation goals into scalable, integrated SAP solution designs
- Own solution architecture decisions across projects, ensuring alignment with best practices, standards, and long-term roadmap
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, and guide them through solution options and trade-offs
- Lead and mentor consultants and developers, ensuring solution quality and consistency across workstreams
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution architecture design, estimations, and client presentations
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 9–10+ years of relevant experience in SAP consulting across SAP MM and S/4HANA Procurement domain
- Proven track record in leading complex SAP transformation projects
- Functional and/or technical proficiency with at least 4 full-cycle SAP implementations
- Strong cross-module expertise to design robust end-to-end Procurement (MM) solutions
- Excellent configuration and solution design skills with a holistic architectural mindset
- Excellent consulting and stakeholder management skills, including C‑level interaction
- Experience working across multiple industries with a strong understanding of relevant business processes
- Experience in pre-sales and business development activities
- Strategic thinking combined with project and solution leadership capabilities
- SAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA Procurement / MM are an advantage
- Experience with SAP’s integration and transformation toolchain, such as Signavio, LeanIX, SAP Cloud ALM, and WalkMe
- Commitment to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and building organizational capabilities
- Experience designing AI-enabled SAP solutions (e.g., process automation, embedded AI, analytics) with the ability to evaluate use cases, risks, and governance in collaboration with customers.

- University degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills in English, German and Romanian.
