Senior SAP TM & BN4L Consultant (f/m/d)
You work on SAP consulting projects focused on logistics and transportation, designing and implementing solutions based on SAP Transportation Management and SAP Business Network for Logistics. You take ownership of defined workstreams and contribute to high‑quality, end‑to‑end SAP implementations in international project environments. You collaborate closely with customers and project teams to translate business needs into robust SAP solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Implement business processes and design SAP solutions in the area of logistics and transportation based on SAP TM and SAP BN4L
- Take ownership of functional streams within SAP projects, from requirement analysis through configuration, testing, and go‑live support.
- Configure SAP TM and SAP BN4L including unit and integration testing, documentation, and validation activities.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and support the development team during build, testing, and deployment.
- Actively contribute to workshops with business stakeholders and support solution decision‑making.
- Take responsibility for planning and implementing work packages within SAP Transportation Management and SAP Business Network for Logistics projects and ensure high‑quality delivery.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 5–7+ years of relevant experience with SAP Transportation Management and/or SAP Business Network for Logistics.
- Functional and/or technical proficiency demonstrated in at least three full‑cycle SAP implementation projects.
- Proven ability to explain and demonstrate SAP Transportation Management and SAP Business Network for Logistics processes and identify process optimization opportunities.
- Good cross‑module knowledge enabling the design of end‑to‑end logistics and transportation processes.
- Solid configuration and solution design skills.
- Consulting mindset with the ability to propose multiple business process improvement options, including a clear articulation of pros and cons.
- Experience across multiple industries with a good understanding of logistics and transportation processes.
- SAP certifications in SAP Transportation Management and/or SAP Business Network for Logistics as an advantage.
- Exposure to pre‑sales activities, such as solution input or proposal support, as an advantage.
- Commitment to knowledge sharing, team collaboration, and capability development within the organization.
- Use of AI to optimize delivery, such as process analysis, testing support, and reporting, with the ability to explain AI‑driven scenarios and assess where AI adds business value.
General requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills in English and German.
- Team player comfortable working in complex, international environments.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and exposure to diverse industries.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality results and support client outcomes.
- Willingness to travel depending on project requirements.
