We are looking for PPDS/ePPDS experts to be part of our dynamic team in India.

Your Responsibilities:

    • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design efficient production planning and scheduling processes using SAP ePPDS. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend best practices. 
    • Implementation and Configuration: Configure the SAP ePPDS module based on business requirements and industry-specific needs. Set up master data, define planning parameters, configure scheduling strategies, and integrate with other SAP modules and systems. 
    • System Testing and Documentation: Conduct comprehensive testing of the SAP ePPDS solution to ensure it meets business requirements and functions as intended. Document test results, configuration changes, and system design for future reference and knowledge sharing. 
    • Training and User Support: Provide training to end-users on how to effectively use SAP ePPDS functionalities, including creating production plans, scheduling orders, and managing exceptions. Offer ongoing user support, troubleshoot issues, and address inquiries related to the ePPDS module. 
    • Integration and Data Migration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP ePPDS with other SAP modules, such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Plant Maintenance (PM). Assist with data migration activities, ensuring accurate and timely transfer of relevant data into the ePPDS system. 
    • Change Management: Support change management activities by assisting in business process reengineering, conducting impact assessments, and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT). Work with stakeholders to address any change-related challenges and ensure the successful adoption of SAP ePPDS. 
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements and features in SAP ePPDS and related technologies. Continuously identify opportunities for system optimization, performance improvement, and automation to enhance production planning and scheduling processes. 
    • Project Management: Participate in project planning, monitor progress, and manage deliverables within agreed timelines and budget. Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and smooth project execution. 

Your Experience and Skills:

    • 8+ years of SAP experience in implementing and configuring one or more SAP ePPDS projects. 
    • Good configuration knowledge for Advance Planning in S4HANA-Basic settings, Global Settings, Master data, Alert Monitor, Planning Procedures, PP Optimization, MRP Run, Order View, Heuristics, (Heuristics) Detailed Scheduling, Settings - Detailed Scheduling Planning & Resource Planning Table, CIF integration, Product Planning Table, PPDS Alerts based on planning profile or departments per function.
    • Knowledge of Block planning /PPDS Optimizer.
    • Functional knowledge on various levels within Planning (Strategic/Tactical and Operational planning). 
    • Understanding of Functions in the planning board including the planning strategies. 
    • Understanding of PPDS integration with other systems (like IBP) for forecast integration. 
    • Understanding of Planning parameters and different kinds of Heuristics in PPDS along with mapping it to business scenarios.
    • Proficiency in SAP PP (Production Planning) and integration with other SAP modules. 
    • Experience in production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing processes within various industries. 
    • Understanding of supply chain management concepts and best practices. 
    • Understanding and experience of APO is an advantage.
