SAP Cutover Manager – Application Architect

You’ll be focused on:
• Building and maintaining detailed cutover strategies for SAP S/4 HANA migration projects.
• Creating and managing comprehensive cutover plans, including individual market roll-outs.
• Designing legacy system changes (excluding ERP) and migration plans for data load preparation.
• Guiding cross-functional teams through all phases of cutover:
- Kick-off Preparation Phase
- Kickoff
- Design and realization of legacy system changes
- Creation and execution of migration plans and data load tests
- Execution of production data load
- Preparation for Go-Live, Go-Live execution, and stabilization (after Go-Live support)
• Documenting processes, risks, and mitigation strategies to ensure seamless system transitions.
In order to succeed, you’ll need:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable work experience.
• Proven experience working as a Cutover Manager or in a similar role within large-scale migration projects.
• Expert knowledge in SAP/S4 HANA migration projects.
• Ability to create, maintain, and adapt detailed cutover strategies, including time, change, and release management.
• Experience with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel.
• Strong communication and analytical skills for stakeholder management and risk mitigation.
• Fluent Business English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
• Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies.
• Experience in agile environments and cross-functional coordination.
• Knowledge of integration testing and performance validation during cutover phases.
