Who we are?
Silverfin is a cutting-edge cloud software solution built by accountants, for accountants.
Founded in 2013, Silverfin was created to solve the frustrations of manual, error-prone processes in analysing financial data and compliance. From day one, we’ve been a cloud-first platform with an open API architecture, leveraging structured data to transform how accountants work.
Our mission is simple: to enhance and support the accountancy profession through AI and automation, ensuring accountants remain relevant and respected in the future of finance.
In 2023, Silverfin became part of the Visma Group, joining one of Europe’s leading providers of cloud software. This partnership strengthens our ability to innovate and expand our impact within the accountancy industry.
Today, Silverfin is trusted by over 1000+ firms across 19 countries. Our clients include all of the Big 4 accounting firms, as well as leading global networks like BDO, PKF, Baker Tilly, Grant Thornton, and Moore.
Headquartered in Ghent, with offices in London, Luxembourg, Gouda (NL), and a 2nd office in South of Belgium (Mont-Saint-Guibert), we’re a team of over 200 people - including a diverse remote engineering team working across multiple time zones - all working together to drive innovation in accounting.
How would you support our success?
We are looking for a tech-savvy, process-loving Junior Sales Operations Administrator to join our growing Revenue Operations team. This is a junior role perfect for someone who wants to build a career in RevOps.
While our Salesforce & CPQ Administrator builds the complex technical architecture and our CS Ops Manager drives retention & onboarding strategy, you will be the guardian of our sales processes.
You have a natural interest in how systems talk to each other - you don't just see a Salesforce record; you see the API connection that brought it there from HubSpot and the integration that will send it to Planhat. You will be the first line of support for our sales team, ensuring they have the tools and clean data they need to close deals, while working side-by-side with senior RevOps colleagues who will support your growth every step of the way.
Your responsibilities
- Pipeline & Forecast Hygiene: Conduct weekly pipeline reviews to ensure opportunities are up-to-date, moving through stages correctly, and contain accurate close dates and values.
- Sales Process Support: Assist the sales team with "Deal Desk" activities, including generating complex Proposals in DealHub and ensuring compliance with discounting policies.
- Reporting & Analytics: Create and distribute weekly sales performance reports (calls, meetings, pipeline generation) to sales leadership using Salesforce.
- First-Line Support & Enablement: You will be the "go-to" person for the sales team when they are stuck. Whether it’s a question about a Proposal in DealHub or a lost lead, you troubleshoot the issue or escalate it if it requires technical configuration.
- Data Quality: Proactively identify and correct data errors in account and contact records to ensure the "single source of truth" remains clean
- AI & Tooling Adoption: You will assist in rolling out and managing modern sales tools (e.g., AI tools like Gong/Gemini, sales engagement platforms). You are curious about how AI can make our sales team faster and will help drive the adoption of these features
What would success look like?
- Sales Team Confidence: Sales team members feel supported and get quick answers to their process questions, allowing them to spend more time selling and less time fighting the system
- Forecast Reliability: Improvement in the accuracy of weekly sales forecasts due to rigorous pipeline management.
- Sales Velocity: Reduction in time spent by the sales team on administrative tasks and quote generation.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from the sales team regarding responsiveness and support quality.
- Adoption: High adoption rates of sales processes and tools among the sales team.
Experience and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a Sales Operations, Sales Admin, or commercial support role.
- Experience in a B2B SaaS environment is a Big Plus.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (as a power user or junior admin) is essential.
- Experience with CPQ tools (DealHub) or BI tools (Looker) is a plus.
- Exposure to or strong interest in other GTM tools like HubSpot (Marketing) or Planhat (CS) is a major plus.
Skills and knowledge
- Process-Oriented: You understand that a good process leads to predictable revenue.
- Communicator: You can explain complex process changes to the sales team clearly and empathetically.
- Collaborative: You can work seamlessly with the RevOps team.
- The "Tech Curiosity": You might not be a developer, but you are interested in how APIs work, how Webhooks fire, and how data schemas are built. You love connecting the dots between systems
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis.
Attitude and personality-related traits
- Humbly Ambitious (Service Mindset): You understand that Operations is often "backstage work." You are proud to be the unsung hero who fixes the data flow so the Sales Team can ring the bell. You know your work matters, even if it isn’t highlighted as much across the wider business.
- Team Player: You are not a lone wolf. You will work closely with the Marketing Ops Executive and CS Ops Manager. You thrive in a "side-by-side" environment where asking for help is encouraged.
- Resilient & Detail-Obsessed: You care about the details that others miss (a typo in a contract, a wrong currency field). You take ownership of the quality of our data
