Today, Silverfin is trusted by over 930 firms across 16 countries. Our clients include all of the Big 4 accounting firms, as well as leading global networks like BDO, PKF, Baker Tilly, Grant Thornton, and Moore.
Headquartered in Ghent, with offices in London, Luxembourg, and Gouda (NL), we’re a team of over 180 people - including a diverse remote engineering team working across multiple time zones - all working together to drive innovation in accounting.
What you will be doing during your internship
During the internship, you will be able to coordinate and execute HR projects in our fast-growing, inspiring and dynamic environment. Your tasks will include:
People and Culture, which will be your main focus
- Support the induction and onboarding of new staff
- Work on different HR related projects
- Assist in arranging and championing social events for the team
- Support the maintenance of personnel records including highly confidential material
Recruitment
- Assist the building of talent pools for a range of roles
- Learn to work with our ATS (applicant tracking system)
- Learn to work with LinkedIn Recruiter
- Give feedback after interviews
Office Management
- Make the necessary arrangements for meetings organised by/on behalf of the CEO (e.g. audio/visual equipment, presentation materials)
- Order weekly groceries, including fruit, food and drinks
- Review and manage equipment inventory
- Order and manage the office stationary supply
- Assist in organising social events
What does the ideal candidate look like?
- Graduating and highly interested in HR
- Detail oriented
- Internship period of at least 12 weeks
- Drive and motivation to commit and achieve
- Tenacity
- Positive and energetic personality
- Openness and hunger to learn and grow
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Drivers licence
