THE ROLE
 
As a Digital Marketplaces Intern at KARL LAGERFELD, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the dynamic field of e-commerce and digital marketplaces. You will work closely with the Marketplaces team, assisting in the coordination of product data, product images and product activation activities for the digital Marketplaces. Your primary focus will be on working with the marketplace partner platforms to identify and coordinate the resolving of product information issues; track, update and report on product live statuses and support with partner- and customer service. This role requires organizational skills, attention for detail and good communication skills. The Digital Marketplaces intern reports to the Digital Product Activation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

    • Product Activation:
    • Collaborate with the integrator and Marketplace partners to identify product data and -image-related errors and coordinate the error resolution with the Marketplaces team to ensure product launches.
    • Maintain product activation trackers and communication to internal teams.
    • Generate regular reports on product activation statuses and action points, and communicate to internal teams.
    • Monitor the onboarding status of products across various marketplaces to facilitate weekly replenishments
    • Perform regular Product Detail Page cross checks for all Marketplaces for an accurate representation of the digital products.
    • Product Images:
    • Assist with the product production process, including image renaming, download from Digital Asset Management system, upload to Marketplace portal.
    • Assist with product image corrections and uploads.
    • Partner and Customer Service:
    • Point of contact for the Marketplace partners to follow up on product information and product order requests.
    • Point of contact for the Marketplace partners to follow up on customer service requests.

The Profile

    • Business Administration, Fashion Management, or related studies
    • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and proactive mindset.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to communicate with internal and external partners in a clear and constructive way.
    • Proficient with Excel and other MS Office tools.
    • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
    • Previous exposure to e-commerce is a plus.
Available for 6 months / Full-time

Please note that we can only consider your application if you are enrolled for the full duration of your internship at your school or university. Also, due to Dutch legislation, you have to be in possession of  European nationality or study in the Netherlands.
