Job Summary:
The Email Marketing Intern will support the Digital Marketing and E-commerce departments by coordinating CRM activities. He or she will work closely with the Team Lead Digital Design & UX, E-commerce Marketing Manager & the CRM Specialist. This role involves contribution to planning and executing CRM initiatives, using data to enhance customer engagement across digital platforms. The intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of CRM within a dynamic fashion e-commerce/digital marketing landscape.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with weekly reporting on channel performance: Compile and report key metrics, highlighting trends and insights for optimization.
  • Analyze data (Google Analytics & CRM platform) to extract relevant insights that can enhance customer retention, conversion strategies and unlock new potential.
  • Support the development and implementation of CRM campaigns.
  • Build newsletter template on Klaviyo and develop new ones ensuring engaging content.
  • Support with creating briefings for creative team, copywriters.
  • Support in trade reporting and prepare weekly presentations
  • Monitor the database (database clean up, analysis)
  • Contribute to the creation of customer segmentation strategies by analyzing data and identifying distinct customer groups.
  • Collaborate with the CRM Specialist and marketing teams to tailor communications for various customer segments.
  • Coordinate copy briefings with external translation agency.
  • Prepare/compile and format presentations and reports.
  • Create benchmarks/best practices.
  • Provide administrative support for office related tasks.

Skills, Education & Experience:

  • Experience and proficiency in MS Office software suites and preferably also in Google Analytics;  
  • Keen knowledge and interest in digital marketing and data analyzation; 
  • Experience with premium brands or the luxury sector is preferable but not a must; 
  • Previous marketing or e-com internship preferred, ideally in CRM; 
  • Language: fluent in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of an additional language (one that is served on KARL.com) is an advantage.

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly for newsletter localisation and reporting tasks;
  • An organised and analytical mindset;
  • Able to prioritize and multitask;
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team;
  • Interested and passionate about the fashion industry and cross-channel digital marketing;
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude; 
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. 
Start date: ASAP/ Available for 6+ months / 40 hours a week
 
Please note that we can only consider your application if you are enrolled for the full duration of your internship at your school or university. Also, due to Dutch legislation, you have to be in possession of  European nationality or study in the Netherlands.
