Tax Manager
THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on Tax Manager to join our Finance team in Amsterdam. This is a newly created role and a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to build and optimize our tax function in alignment with the growth of our international business and our continued path of professionalization.
You will be primarily responsible for Corporate Income Tax (CIT) compliance for the Dutch fiscal unity, while coordinating a wide range of tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. Your role will also include supporting VAT governance, Transfer Pricing compliance, and broader tax risk management and advisory responsibilities. You’ll work closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners, including tax authorities and our parent company, G-III Apparel Group and you will be an integral part of our Finance team with great opportunities to interact with a wide range of cross-functional (business) stakeholders
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the CIT compliance process for the Dutch fiscal unity, including timely preparation and filing of preliminary and final CIT returns. Coordinate CIT related matters across other jurisdictions
- Act as the central point of coordination for corporate tax matters in close collaboration with local finance team, GIII Finance / Tax and external advisors
- Ensure robust governance and control over VAT processes and deliverables
- Manage relationships with tax authorities and G-III on tax-related matters
- Coordinate the preparation and review of transfer pricing calculations; ensure compliance with documentation requirements
- Support tax disclosures in the Dutch statutory financial statements
- Provide guidance and support on various tax matters, including but not limited to Withholding Tax (WHT) and the Work-Related Costs Scheme (WKR) and other indirect tax matters.
- Monitor developments in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the organization
The Profile:
• 6 to 8 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a multinational setting or Big 4 firm
• Good understanding of Dutch tax regulations, with hands-on experience in Dutch Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and Transfer Pricing
• Strong understanding of Dutch Statutory Financial Statements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal
• Proven self-starter with a hands-on mentality
• Experience working in an international and dynamic environment
• University degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, or Accounting; additional tax qualifications or certifications are an asset
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
