Position purpose
The Stock Manager is responsible for managing the back of house and shop floor operations, this includes deliveries, transfers, Farfetch and stockroom organization, ensuring all stock management HOK procedures are followed. The supervisor also has the responsibility of providing a safe working and shopping environment.

Key accountabilities

    • Stock Management
    • Ensure all deliveries, transfers and returns are processed and managed on the POS system
    • Inform the Store Manager of any delivery/stock discrepancies and follow up with Retail support
    • Ensuring Farfetch orders are processed daily and KPI’s targets are achieved
    • Filing paperwork correctly and as per the House of Karl procedures
    • Prioritize deliveries based on style/product group turnover, peak trading times, promotions
    • Manage stock team, ensure efficient communication and training
    • Process defective items and customer returns
    • Give feedback to Store Manager about what stock is needed to have full product availability
    • Maintain a tidy and organized stockroom and shop floor storage with a clear system in place
    • Is aware of the best and slow sellers and ensure these are easily accessible in the stock room
    • Ensure efficient replenishment on shop floor at all times
    • Excellent knowledge of the product (sizes, colors and styles etc.)
    • Stay informed about product availabilities, reorder dates
    • Liaise with Merchandising team about product needs
    • Ensure that aisles are safe
    • Make sure the stockroom is safe
    • Take action if other associates are acting in an unsafe manner
    • Follow all procedure for loss prevention
    • Take action to reduce shrink (cycle inventories, correct and complete security tagging)
    • Treat all associates and customers with respect

    • Drive sales
    • This involves a good knowledge of the business that will provide a growth in sales.
    • Give feedback to Store Manager about what stock is needed to have full product availability
    • Maintain a tidy and organized stockroom and shop floor storage with a clear system in place
    • Is aware of the best and slow sellers and ensure these are easily accessible in the stock room
    • Ensure efficient replenishment on shop floor at all times

    • Product knowledge
    • This involves an outstanding knowledge of the product to support the store operation.
    • Excellent knowledge of the product (sizes, colors and styles etc.)
    • Stay informed about product availabilities, reorder dates
    • Liaise with Merchandising team about product needs
    • Ensure that aisles are safe
    • Make sure the stockroom is safe
    • Take action if other associates are acting in an unsafe manner
    • Follow all procedure for loss prevention
    • Take action to reduce shrink (cycle inventories, correct and complete security tagging)
    • Treat all associates and customers with respect

    • Maintains safety, security and integrity
    • This involves that all procedures are being followed and that the safety is being kept.
    • Ensure that aisles are safe
    • Make sure the stockroom is safe
    • Take action if other associates are acting in an unsafe manner
    • Follow all procedure for loss prevention
    • Take action to reduce shrink (cycle inventories, correct and complete security tagging)
    • Treat all associates and customers with respect

Profile

    • Stock control and stock takes experience required
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Fluent English & Spanish
    • Enthusiastic, pro-active and customer focused
    • Good communication and social skills
    • Team player & Team management experience
    • Fashion experience desired but not mandatory
