THE ROLE
Karl Lagerfeld is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Facilities Coordinator to oversee the seamless operation of our Amsterdam office, embodying the brand’s legacy of innovation and excellence. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the facility’s optimal functionality, safety, and aesthetics, aligning with the high standards of a global luxury fashion house. You will manage day-to-day operations, including maintenance schedules, vendor coordination, and urgent repairs, while fostering collaborative relationships with internal teams and external contractors. The ideal candidate combines meticulous attention to detail with a proactive, results-driven mindset, ensuring every aspect of the workspace reflects Karl Lagerfeld’s commitment to sophistication and efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Facilities Management:
    • Led the hard and soft facilities for Amsterdam, maintaining exceptional standards
    • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the landlord
    • Create and maintain work instructions for the facility, cleaning, and utility teams
    • Manage relationships with contracted suppliers, including: Catering, security, trash management, cleaning services, building management, and food & beverages.

    • Safety, Security, and Service Management:
    • Act as primary contact for emergencies
    • Coordinate the Emergency Response Officers team (BHV coordinator)
    • Manage the physical security of buildings
    • Manage relationships with contracted suppliers, including: Catering, security, trash management, cleaning services, building management, and food & beverages.
    • Maintain and update the Emergency Plan and safety policies

THE PROFILE:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management or Operations Management
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
    • Hands-on mentality and experience within the Facilities and Utility contractors is a pre
    • In possession of a Secours de l'entreprise certification (SST), or willing to obtain
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Proficiency in English is a must
    • Proactive, service-focused, and cost-conscious
    • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • A keen eye for detail and someone who enjoys taking the initiative
    • The start date is ASAP
