Zoī’s Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role as the right hand to the co-founders, Paul Dupuy et Ismaël Emélien and Chief Operating Officer, Alice Conques. You will act as the operational backbone of the executive team (SteerCo), facilitating executive decision-making, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring that initiatives move forward at startup speed.

It therefore requires full commitment to go above and beyond, meticulous execution, as well as the agility to navigate the wide range of topics that will fall into your remit - sales, medical operations, human resources, and projects at the intersection of product, technology, and medical science.

The ideal candidate possesses a versatile skill set: adept at strategic planning, proficient in quantitative analysis, capable of hands-on problem-solving, armed with a sharp sense of humor, and a contagious enthusiasm that uplifts the team amidst the dynamic pace of startup life. Given this stellar skill set, the future COS must also have a strong grounding in humility.

Main Missions

    • Act as a trusted advisor to the founders and COO, providing insightful feedback, challenging assumptions, and offering strategic counsel to enhance decision-making processes.
    • Manage projects effectively, ensuring that milestones are met and priorities are being executed efficiently
    • Provide quantitative and qualitative reporting and documentation for various SteerCo projects, which can include data visualization, Notion pages, and other similar types of tools
    • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and quantitative analysis to inform decisions, identify opportunities, and evaluate risks
    • Internal communications: help break down silos between teams through strategic communications, fostering an atmosphere of collegial feedback and teamwork
    • External communications: work with leadership to hone presentations, documents, and other types of copy for external messaging 
    • Influential Leadership: Influence outcomes and inspire action across all levels of the organization

Ideal Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally in a strategic consulting firm or similar role  
    • Exceptional analytical skills, you are at ease with Google Suite (or similar) to manage data and extract actionable insights 
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a high-speed environment
    • Quick learner, you can ramp up on a vast array of medical, operational and technical topics
    • Strong leadership qualities, capable of motivating and influencing others without direct authority
    • Strong communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from various backgrounds (tech, product, medical) and levels within the organization
    • High level of discretion and professionalism, with experience handling sensitive information
    • Fluent English & French and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
