Zoī’s IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, mobile, networks, and systems. This is an exciting role as it interfaces with different sites including our headquarters and our medical check-up center, requiring excellent technical skills as well as top-notch communication skills. Beyond ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related functions, you will also play a key role in user support to trouble-shoot technical issues with a wide range of end-users (healthcare professionals, product, R&D, and support teams).

Main Missions

    • Develop and Implement IT Policies and Procedures: Collaborate with the IT manager in developing and implementing policies and procedures for technology usage, including security policies, data backup and recovery plans, and IT asset management procedures.
    • User Support: Assist users in the installation and usage of computer hardware and software; diagnose and resolve IT incidents through phone, email, or in-person interactions; provide training to users on IT tools and best security practices.
    • Ticketing system: Manage assistance requests using a ticketing system, ensuring regular follow-ups.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Create user guides and technical procedure documentation; keep the knowledge base up-to-date to facilitate user support; prepare periodic activity reports for the IT manager.
    • System Administration: Administer servers, ensuring their stability, security, and efficient operation; manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels across various systems and applications.
    • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing systems and processes to recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    • Market watch: Review emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for adoption within the organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
    • Proven experience as an IT Specialist, IT Support Specialist, or similar role
    • Strong knowledge of network administration, operating systems, mobile device management, virtualization, IT architecture and service management
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices
    • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus
    • Fluent written and spoken French is mandatory as is operational English
