About this role:
We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to oversee our quality assurance team and processes. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive QA strategy, ensuring that all products - software and applications - meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Under your leadership, we will improve the foundations of our automated testing strategy, which will play a crucial role in enhancing our QA processes and ensuring efficient, effective testing practices.
Main Missions:
- Lead the global QA strategy for our Back-end, Web & React Native Mobile apps and implement the strategy in close collaboration with the teams
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers
- Collaborate closely with the development team upstream by participating in software design and requirements to ensure testability, and downstream to identify and resolve software defects and issues
- Monitor, analyze, and report on test results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Design and develop testing methodology across software life cycle, including advanced automation scripts, frameworks, and test environments
- Continuously learn and improve testing skills and techniques
- Provide revelant testing analytics to stakeholders
- Create the risk assessment strategy to identify potential risks and issues
- Participate in product release and deployment activities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Profile of the Candidate
- Bachelors or Master degree in Engineering or equivalent (BAC+3, BAC+5)
- Excellent knowledge of autonomous testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestComplete) and scripting languages
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a QA team
- Hands-on & willing to contribute directly when needed
- Fluent French & English
