XTB - the largest Polish investment fintech with a global footprint, is looking for a Director of Regulatory Affairs & Licensing.
We are seeking an experienced leader to shape XTB's regulatory strategy, oversee key licensing and authorization processes, and build professional, transparent, and constructive relationships with supervisory authorities in Poland and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate licensing and authorization processes in Poland and across international markets.
- Manage relationships with supervisory authorities throughout licensing proceedings, inspections, regulatory inquiries, and consultations.
- Build and maintain open, professional, and transparent partnerships with financial regulators and capital market institutions.
- Develop and execute XTB's regulatory strategy, including oversight and management of the company's regulatory licenses.
- Monitor regulatory developments and coordinate the implementation of new regulatory requirements across the organization.
- Represent XTB in industry associations, working groups, and regulatory consultations.
- Actively participate in public consultations and legislative processes to represent and protect the interests of the company and its clients.
- Advise the Management Board on regulatory risks related to new products, markets, and business models.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive senior leadership experience in regulatory affairs, financial supervision, legal, or compliance functions.
- Previous leadership experience within a Polish or international financial supervisory authority will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of regulatory authorities' practices and proven experience in managing regulatory relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of investment firms, capital markets, derivatives, and CFD products.
- Demonstrated experience leading licensing processes, supervisory proceedings, or strategic regulatory initiatives.
- High ethical standards, sound business judgment, and the ability to work closely with executive leadership and the Management Board.
- A willingness to thrive in a high-performance, results-oriented culture.
