IT Procurement & Vendor Management Specialist
The Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Procurement & Vendor Management Specialist to manage our IT vendor relationships and procurement activities. The successful candidate will ensure that IT contracts, licenses, and assets are effectively administered and remain compliant with organizational policies.
This role is vital for negotiating with suppliers, monitoring performance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to support our IT and cross-functional teams
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Maintain strong business relationships with IT vendors and suppliers while acting as the primary point of communication to resolve issues
- Draft, review, and manage IT contracts to ensure they meet legal standards and organizational requirements
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure strict compliance with contract terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Track contract renewals and expirations to ensure timely replacements, and manage the full lifecycle of IT assets from deployment to disposal
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all procurement agreements, purchase orders, and performance reports
- Identify and implement strategic initiatives to reduce procurement costs and improve efficiency
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies, external regulations, and hardware/software licensing agreements
Main requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar procurement or vendor management position
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and hardware/software asset management principles
- Fluent knowledge of English orally and written
- Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills with a "can-do" attitude
- Methodical problem-solver with strong organizational and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and proactive, with an eagerness to learn and grow in an industry-leading environment.
The following will be considered an advantage:
- Experience in providing procurement services within a large Group of Companies
- Knowledge of specific IT asset management (ITAM) tools or procurement software
