Compliance Complaints Officer - Limassol

The Role:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance Complaints Officer to join our Compliance team. As a Compliance Complaints Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company's compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will be responsible for investigating complaints, identifying compliance issues, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. The main responsibilities of the position include:

    • Assist in receiving and reviewing complaints related to compliance issues following our Company's complaints handling procedure
    • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
    • Conduct reviews and provide approvals for marketing materials, ensuring they adhere to compliance standards
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified compliance issues
    • Maintain accurate records of complaints, investigations, and corrective actions taken
    • Conduct monthly desk-based reviews and inspections as part of our 'Compliance Risk Assessment and Monitoring Program', ensuring the Company's compliance with legal and regulatory obligations and assessing the effectiveness of internal policies and control procedures
    • Assist Senior members of the team in fulfilling monthly and ad-hoc regulatory reporting obligations
    • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to complaint handling and compliance
    • Provide general support to the compliance team as needed, including administrative tasks and special projects

Main requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, or a related field
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience
    • Previous experience in managing complaints will be considered an advantage
    • CySEC Advanced certification will be considered an advantage
    • Basic understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
