HR Business Partner - South Africa

The Role:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a fast-paced environment and provide support, advice, and direction on the full life cycle of HR activities in South Africa. 

The main responsibilities of the position include:

    • Work closely with the local Managers on delivering various HR initiatives
    • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
    • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance and support the Management on disciplinary and grievance issues
    • Maintain up to date employee records according to policy and legal requirements
    • Facilitate the recruitment and selection process, including the publishing of job adverts, sourcing, arranging interviews and communicating with candidates
    • Assist in performance management processes
    • Facilitate and monitor employee onboarding and their induction process
    • Support training and development activities
    • Address ad hoc requests from colleagues on HR issues 

Main requirements:

    • BSc/MSc in Business, HR, or in a related field
    • At least 3 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities
    • Very good knowledge and understanding of local labor laws and disciplinary procedures
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
    • Strong organisational skills, with a high attention to detail
