Competitive Intelligence Analyst – Cyprus or Greece
The Role:
We are looking for a passionate individual to join our established Competitive Intelligence team. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams across the organisation to gather, contextualise and deliver competitive intelligence insights.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Conduct market assessments to provide useful insights, produce reports and present actionable recommendations
- Perform ongoing tracking and analysis of key competitors’ characteristics and emerging competitive threats and trends
- Observe social networks and product review-sites and provide information on customers’ attitudes towards competitors and products
- Track advertising or news of product launches in industry publications and provide analysts with information on competitors’ marketing activities
- Liaise with other departments to obtain or provide additional/supportive information.
- Collect information, create databases, reports and presentations that provide strategic recommendations to their company's key stakeholders
Main requirements:
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Experience in a similar position in a financial services organisation will be considered an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of ethics, integrity, and transparency
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Fluency in English
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel)
