Junior Social Media Officer
The Role:
We are looking for a motivatedand creative Junior Social Media Officer to support our fast-growing marketing function. In this role, you will work in a dynamic and international environment, contribute to engaging social media initiatives, and develop your career in digital marketing. You will play a key part in assisting with the execution of social media strategies, content creation, campaign reporting, and audience engagement across multiple platforms.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Support the planning and execution of social media strategies across multiple platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Telegram etc.)
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment of all visual assets with brand guidelines before publishing
- Assist in developing and maintaining social media content calendars across multiple initiatives
- Use social media management tools (e.g. Sprinklr) to schedule and publish content
- Support the setup and coordination of live social media events (e.g. Instagram Live) in collaboration with the Live Education team
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, yearly, and lifetime performance reports using analytics tools to track key metrics and measure campaign success
- Support A/B testing to determine the most effective content and thoroughly analyse the results to derive actionable insights for enhanced decision-making
- Coordinate with Regional Marketing teams by sharing relevant materials (e.g. calendars, ad-hoc posts, and scripts)
- Conduct competitor research and shares insights on best practices
- Stay up to date on the latest social media platform features and industry-specific rules and regulations related to content sharing on social media
Main requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Digital Media, or a related field
- Up to 2 years of experience in a social media role, preferably in a Marketing agency or in fintech or online trading services
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Experience using task management or collaboration tools (e.g., Jira) is considered an advantage
- Basic understanding of social media management tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Brandwatch) will be considered an advantage
- Creative thinking with a keen eye for visual content and brand voice
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow brand guidelines
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong team player with the ability to also work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
