Bengali- Speaking Regional Marketing Executive
The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and creative professional to lead and coordinate our fast-growing marketing function for the Bangladesh market. As a Regional Marketing Executive you will ensure the successful collaboration of different teams, and the timely delivery of projects. The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Define and create marketing strategies in collaboration with the business development team that are specific to regional needs, ensuring they align with the Company’s overall objectives
- Build and manage the local marketing team, providing guidance, and support to execute marketing strategies effectively
- Lead end-to-end social and marketing initiatives — strategy, content creation, publishing, and performance optimization
- Manage brand-safe community engagement and influencer partnerships with cross-functional teams
- Develop and implement demand, lead-generation and brand awareness marketing plans, including the rollout of strategic marketing campaigns
- Evaluate the success of these campaigns against predefined KPIs to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies as necessary
- Assist the Business Development functions in conducting market research in regions that require in dept knowledge and analysis during stages of new region penetration, taking into account each country’s ethics, culture, customs, etc.
- Provide support for marketing events and exhibitions as required, ensuring a consistent and powerful brand presence
- Work closely with the headquarters' CMO to discuss and establish yearly marketing plans, ensuring regional strategies complement global marketing objectives
- Lead in ongoing marketing activities, supporting both the marketing team and other regional teams as necessary
- Stay updated with local and global marketing trends
- Ensure all marketing activities adhere to corporate brand guidelines, maintaining brand integrity across all regions
Main requirements:
- University degree in Marketing, Business or a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
- Native Bengali speaker and fluent in English
- Strong understanding of Bangladeshi market
- Experience within the financial services industry will be considered a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, tools and platforms (such as Google Analytics)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think critically and take necessary actions
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask
- Strong team working skills
