Systems Engineer – Cyprus or Greece
The Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our monitoring solutions, to ensure the stability and performance of our systems and applications. The successful candidate will be someone with a strong background in monitoring tools, along with experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Grafana.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions using tools
- Collaborate with software development and internal operations teams to identify key performance metrics and thresholds for our applications and infrastructure
- Respond to alerts, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to incidents
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reliability
- Liaise with our partners and manage our Private Hosted Environment
- Research and develop new solutions according to business needs
- Conduct routine audits and health checks
Main requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Information Technology or any other relevant field
- 2–5 years of experience in a similar position
- Proven experience with monitoring tools or systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize work within focused teams
The following will be considered an advantage:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Relevant industry certifications in monitoring, cloud platforms, or DevOps
- Experience with IaC & Ansible
- Experience to create and maintain dashboards with the usage of Grafana to visualize performance metrics and alerts.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Previous experience with DevOps practices and tools
