HR Business Partner (m/f/d) - Remote
At Xentral, we have a clear mission: we help businesses simplify their processes with a single piece of software. We can only do that with teams that work well together and keep growing. That’s where you come in. As an HR Business Partner you connect people and business and are the first point of contact for our leads on all people topics, from performance and development to employment law and leadership. Because we’re a scale-up with a small HR team, you think strategically, roll up your sleeves on operational work, and share your knowledge with the team.
We are progressive with how we tackle people work, maximizing on automations, and working in an agile fashion. Because of this tasks will be split between strategic HR business partner work (50%) with department leaders and the remaining half distributed between project work, and other areas where needed.
If you want to actively shape People & Organization with us, we’d love to hear from you.
Your Tasks:
- You’re a sparring partner for our (Senior) Leaders and help them shape and develop their teams successfully
- You own performance management and feedback cycles, including PIPs, promotions, and offboardings
- You’re the first point of contact for employment law questions and find solution-oriented approaches to people matters that align with our values
- You spot opportunities for improvement in People & Organization and drive strategic projects like our Pulse Checks end-to-end, including regular HR reports and concrete recommendations for management
- You geek out over modern People themes, like agile HR, employee experience, org design and are not afraid to experiment with new ways of doing things.
- You handle operational tasks such as applying for A1 certificates or drafting employment references, and run your own recruiting processes with our Talent Acquisition team when needed
Your Profile:
- You have 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, preferably in a scale-up, B2B, or e-commerce environment, and you have working knowledge of German employment law
- You’ve independently taken HR projects such as onboarding concepts or feedback tools from idea to implementation, and you enjoy optimizing processes
- You like bringing structure to new topics, work autonomously in a remote setup, and make decisions based on data and facts
- You have a good feel for people and team dynamics, address tensions early and openly, and stand your ground clearly, including with Senior Leads
- You enjoy working in a flat team where we grow with each other and the company to create the best employee experiences possible.
