Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage robust security architectures for various IT environments.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Deploy and maintain security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Azure Sentinel.
- Automate security processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into IT infrastructures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and apply them proactively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in the English Language (at least B2 in speaking, writing, listening, and reading)
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or IT security engineering.
- Expertise in deploying and managing security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection.
- Strong knowledge of network and security protocols, including TLS, SSL, IPSec, and PKI.
- Familiarity with securing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, or Azure Sentinel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools for secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are a plus.
- Knowledge of compliance standards like NIST, PCI DSS, or HIPAA.
