Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based data solutions using tools like Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Data Factory.
- Build data pipelines and integrations for big data environments.
- Optimize data workflows and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with Sentinel and other security protocols to ensure data security.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner, Solution Architect).
- Manage and analyze datasets, including sensitive data such as payments or customer information.
- Present results to stakeholders and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data engineering, cloud technologies, or large-scale data management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher (speaking, writing, listening, and reading).
- Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including tools like Azure Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, or similar technologies.
- Programming: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, and PySpark for data manipulation and automation.
- CI/CD & DevOps: Proven experience in CI/CD pipelines and using DevOps tools to ensure efficient deployment processes.
- Data Security: A keen focus on data security with hands-on experience using Sentinel or equivalent tools to safeguard sensitive information.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present complex data insights in an accessible way.
- Agile Experience: Experience in Scrum/Agile teams is a plus, ensuring quick delivery of high-quality data products.
- Bonus: Experience with data governance, privacy regulations, and building solutions that comply with industry standards.
