• Being an active part of our SAP Basis & SAP Cloud Team within MAN and Volkswagen Group;

• Designing future operational model, governance and SLA-based management of providers (e.g. definition of new BTP support model

• Bringing in your service management skills to operate our enterprise SAP environment and continuously improve the efficiency of our support network;

• Supporting to develop and maintain highly reliable SAP environments within a hybrid setup with BTP, AWS and on-premise technology

• Driving design and implementation of new features and technologies together with the SAP Basis Team and external service providers;

• Being a consultant to help other stakeholders to enable their projects.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience

• Proven experience working as a SAP Basis or related role

• Previous experience with ITIL and general enterprise frameworks

• Experience in provider management

• Experience with SAP system architecture - with R/3 and/or S/4, BTP

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Great English skills, both written and spoken. 

• Experience in DevOps tools and automation
