The creation of Volta Medical follows the discovery of a new complex medical procedure to treat atrial fibrillation (the most common cardiac arrhythmia in the world) by the company’s founders, world experts in interventional rhythmology and intracardiac signal analysis.
Volta Medical is an innovative start-up based in Marseille, whose goal is to provide a range of artificial intelligence-based products to guide the cardiologist during ablation-type procedures.
We started this adventure 7 years ago and our team now has nearly 100 employees in France, Germany and the United States ! We completed a $27 million Series A round in November 2020 and a $36 million Series B round in January 2023.

Under the supervision of the Territory Manager, the Field Technical Engineer Apprentice will be responsible for:
- Participation in product development projects in liaison with the Volta departments
- Helping the deployment and installation of our solutions at hospitals
- Overseeing application support during operations with surgeons (especially during the deployment of our clinical studies)
- Training doctors and teams on-site to use our solutions
- Being the first point of contact with the medical team
- Playing a central role in customer relations and loyalty. You are the ambassador of our products.
- Be the intermediary with the technical team/Provide feedback from the field to the technical team

- You are looking for a six month internship
- Currently pursuing a biomedical engineering degree (Msc)
- English written and spoken
- Internship experience in a similar role is a plus
