Volta has created a data collection and enrichment ecosystem for curated EP lab data which is fed into a physician validated, machine learning methodology to support complex AF solutions. Our newest technology, Volta AF-Xplorer II, is a data-driven AI decision support system that easily integrates into the standard physician workflow, providing a patient-tailored approach to complex AF and AT procedures.

We are currently looking for a US Commercial Operations Manager to help us in our mission.

đź«€Key Responsibilities

    • Contract Drafting, Review & Management:
    • Draft, review, and negotiate customer contracts and hospital purchasing agreements, against standard templates where possible.  
    • Ensure all contracts align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.  
    • Maintain a centralized contract management system to organize, track, and monitor contracts throughout their lifecycle; implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce risk.  
    • Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies; escalate complex legal issues to the legal team.  
    • Legal & Compliance:
    • Stay current on laws and regulations affecting the medical device industry (e.g., FDA, ISO, healthcare compliance)
    • Advise internal stakeholders on contract related legal and compliance matters
    • Collaborate with hospitals, GPOs, and health system stakeholders to support compliant contracting
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with legal, sales, finance, operations, and marketing to align on contractual matters, operational processes, and commercial strategy
    • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external parties (purchasing, VAC committees, IT, physicians) to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution
    • Sales Operations:
    • Manage and optimize the end-to-end sales funnel process, from lead generation to deal closure, tracking timelines between gate-points and conversions
    • Maintain CRM systems to enhance sales productivity and performance tracking
    • Support the sales team by refining sales processes, forecasting demand, and aligning strategies with company objectives
    • Collaborate with Operations and Marketing on inventory forecasting and planning
    • Assist the VP of Sales and CFO with incentive compensation calculations against commercial performance key performance indicators (KPIs). Support Finance team with customer invoicing and accounts receivable
    • Logistics & Technical Operations
    • Manage shipping of product to customers, including tracking, scheduling, and communication with field teams
    • Handle quality and regulatory paperwork related to installations, maintenance activities, and product lifecycle events
    • Provide technical troubleshooting support to internal teams, helping resolve field issues and liaising with technical/ engineering resources as needed
    • Partner with Operations to streamline logistics workflows and ensure compliance with US and EU shipping and product handling requirements
    • Data Analysis & Reporting 
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in CRM & FP&A platforms to measure and drive performance against KPIs 
    • Use data driven analysis from CRM, FP&A & third-party platforms (eg Acuity data) to inform strategic analysis and commercial, sales targeting & pricing decision-making, together with assessment of performance and recommendation of corrective actions. 
    • Provide analysis and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decision-making

đź«€Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Law, Supply Chain/Operations Management, or a related field
    • Advanced degree (MBA, JD, or Master’s in Healthcare/Operations) is a plus
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial operations, contracts management, or sales operations â€“ particularly within the medical device or life sciences industry and growth SME
    • Experience managing contracts, CRM tools, and cross-functional commercial processes
    • Experience collaborating with sales, operations, finance, and legal teams in a fast-paced commercial environment
    • Hands-on experience with logistics coordination (shipping medical devices, managing documentation, working with international shipments) is preferred
    • Familiarity with FDA, ISO, and other medical device regulatory frameworks.  
    • Strong understanding of contract law, healthcare compliance, and hospital contracting processes.  
    • Proficiency with contract management tools, CRM systems, FP&A platforms and Microsoft Office Suite - Experience with Monday.com CRM is a plus 
    • Proven experience working with hospital contracting stakeholders (purchasing, value analysis committees, IT, physicians). 
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills. 
    • Resilience, drive and determination.  
    • High attention to detail and ability to work independently, prioritizing actions, in a fast-paced commercial environment.
