The creation of Volta Medical follows the discovery of a new complex medical procedure to treat atrial fibrillation (the most common cardiac arrhythmia in the world) by the company’s founders, world experts in interventional rhythmology and intracardiac signal analysis. 

Volta Medical is an innovative start-up based in Marseille, whose goal is to provide a range of artificial intelligence-based products to guide the cardiologist during ablation-type procedures.

We started this adventure 7 years ago and our team now has more than 100 employees in France, Germany and the United States ! We completed a $27 million Series A round in November 2020 and a $36 million Series B round in January 2023.

đź«€Missions

    • Manage a team of Field Clinical Specialists to maximize usage of the Volta system
    • Utilize available resources effectively
    • Ensure a strong communication within France & Benelux on the most recent Afib treatment options with our technologies
    • Establish a strong relationship with our KOLs
    • Work closely with the regional business director to better understand local pathology market and establish a fast penetration of the Volta system in those markets with a general high adoption
    • Share best clinical practises and identify critical success factors (Maximize product adoption, proactive communication, representation of Volta)
    • Assists Sales with advanced product demonstrations to visiting physicians and sales personnel
    • Provides regional Volta procedural case coverage
    • Provides additional back-up support to Field Account Manager in the following areas:
    • Sales support;
    • Regional training
    • Clinical studies/data collection;
    • Trouble Shooting; and,
    • New product introduction, training to physicians, nurses and sales representatives.
    • Remain current on developments in field(s) of expertise, regulatory requirements, and a good working knowledge of company and competitor products, markets, and objectives as well as industry trends.
    • Resolve and/or facilitate resolution of problems including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence
    • Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills while engaging with customers to resolve issues.
    • Interact with R&D, Quality and Regulatory teams.

    • You are based in Paris or Lyon region
    • Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field or equivalent healthcare experience required.
    • A minimum of two years increasingly responsible experience in Electrophysiology, cardiac pacing and related industries.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures.
    • Must have comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
    • You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
    • You are willing to learn about AI products 
    • Must be able to work effectively with engineers, technical specialists, vendors, and customers to achieve assigned goals; must be capable of coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively
    • You are a team player, able to work in a startup environment

    • Interview with the Regional Business Director - 60’ (visio or in person) 
    • Interview with the EU VP of Sales and a team member - 60’ (visio or in person) 
    • Culture fit interview with HR and Volta ambassador - 60’ (in person)
