Who we are?
Volta Medical is a young innovative start-up in the south of France, aimed at creating and bringing to the market AI software products to help cardiologists during heart surgeries. We are a team of HEC and Ecole Polytechnique graduates, as well as world-known cardiologists from France and US working in a great environment in order to make difference on the health market. Our main product is a therapeutic solution using data-driven approach for treating AF based on intracardiac signals’ analysis. This solution builds on artificial intelligence approaches to gain insight into innovative therapies for AF. In fact, this represents one of the first fully AI-guided successful surgical procedures, serving as a revolutionary step in the field of AI. We have started this adventure for 4 years and now we are 60 employees! Mission
Under the supervision of the CEO, the HR Director is responsible for:

- Providing vision on HR governance, structure, and management strategy (short, medium, and long-term objectives) to the Board in a scale up environment,
- Overseeing strategy for talent acquisition, employee retention, training and development and benefit schemes,Leading and managing the HR Department (2 persons),
- Supporting international management team on organizational strategies,
- Defining the development and the implementation of staffing plans with managers regarding to the budget aspect,
- Reporting as often as needed to the Board, to ensure an efficient communication of all relevant supporting information for taking decisions related to HR matters,the HR quality process,Instituting and maintaining well-being, happiness, and company culture,
- Proposing, developing, communicating, and implementing adequate updates of regulations , policies, and tools,
- Managing the administrative and legal process for the transition to 50 employees (FR).

Profile 
At least master’s degree,
At least 10 years’ experience on HR position,
Experience requested within a fast-growing international digital company,
Large experience in tech scale-up is a plus,
Communicates effectively in written and spoken English and French,
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, 
Proactive in finding creative solutions to challenging problems.
