The creation of Volta Medical follows the discovery of a new complex medical procedure to treat atrial fibrillation (the most common cardiac arrhythmia in the world) by the company’s founders, world experts in interventional rhythmology and intracardiac signal analysis.
Volta Medical is an innovative start-up based in Marseille, whose goal is to provide a range of artificial intelligence-based products to guide the cardiologist during ablation-type procedures.
We started this adventure 7 years ago and our team now has more than 100 employees in France, Germany and the United States ! We completed a $27 million Series A round in November 2020 and a $36 million Series B round in January 2023.

- Assist developers in their daily work (communicate with tools, configuration for local running, …)
- Help in maintaining and enhancing the current test / deploy process
- Implement and maintain build and packaging automation (CI, Docker image, …)
- Implement, optimize and maintain the deployment process (IAC, AWS, …)
- Manage observability. Integrate needed tools to follow the application activity in production but also in the development environment.
- Supervise production (resource usage, error alerting, …)
đź«€Qualifications
- You have proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- You have proficiency in command-line tools and scripting languages, including bash.
- You have knowledge of the Infrastructure as Code (IAC) way of work.
- You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
đź«€Preferred Skills
- You have deep expertise in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), with a specific proficiency in GitLab, and familiarity with version control systems.
- You are familiar with containerization technologies like Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes.
- You have experience with AWS cloud platforms and AWS CDK/SDK.
- You possess an understanding of infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- You have basic knowledge of secrets management tools like Vault.
- You have experience with test projects (Cypress and CI/CD integration).
- You are familiar with observability tools, including monitoring and alerting systems.

€45,000 - €50,000 a year
