The Role:
- We are seeking a motivated and talented Backend Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in backend development with a focus on Java and related technologies. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services that power our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend services using Java and Spring Framework.
- Design and optimize databases, ensuring the integrity and performance of MySQL or other SQL-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and address technical challenges.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes to containerize and orchestrate applications.
- Ensure high-quality code by adhering to best practices in software development, version control (Git), and testing.
- Contribute to system monitoring and troubleshooting efforts to maintain reliability.
- Collaborate on the documentation and implementation of APIs using tools like Swagger (nice to have).
- Participate in the enhancement of observability through OpenTelemetry or monitoring tools like NewRelic (nice to have).
- Explore cloud technologies, especially Azure, to improve infrastructure and application performance (nice to have).
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework.
- Proficiency in database design and management using MySQL or other SQL-based systems.
- Experience with Git for version control and working in collaborative environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
- Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger.
- Understanding of observability tools such as OpenTelemetry and NewRelic.
- Knowledge of cloud-native and distributed systems architecture.
