The Role:

    • We are seeking a motivated and talented Backend Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in backend development with a focus on Java and related technologies. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services that power our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend services using Java and Spring Framework.
    • Design and optimize databases, ensuring the integrity and performance of MySQL or other SQL-based systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and address technical challenges.
    • Integrate CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
    • Work with Docker and Kubernetes to containerize and orchestrate applications.
    • Ensure high-quality code by adhering to best practices in software development, version control (Git), and testing.
    • Contribute to system monitoring and troubleshooting efforts to maintain reliability.
    • Collaborate on the documentation and implementation of APIs using tools like Swagger (nice to have).
    • Participate in the enhancement of observability through OpenTelemetry or monitoring tools like NewRelic (nice to have).
    • Explore cloud technologies, especially Azure, to improve infrastructure and application performance (nice to have).

Requirements:

    • Strong knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework.
    • Proficiency in database design and management using MySQL or other SQL-based systems.
    • Experience with Git for version control and working in collaborative environments.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
    • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
    • Nice-to-Have Skills:
    • Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
    • Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger.
    • Understanding of observability tools such as OpenTelemetry and NewRelic.
    • Knowledge of cloud-native and distributed systems architecture.
