We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Mendix Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Junior Mendix Developer, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Mendix applications to meet our clients' business needs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Mendix development while growing your skills in a collaborative and supportive environment. 💻
Your responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior developers to understand project objectives and gather requirements ;
- Assist in designing and developing Mendix applications, following best practices and ensuring maintainable code;
- Help create intuitive user interfaces using Mendix Studio or Mendix Studio Pro to ensure a smooth user experience;
- Learn and apply business logic and workflows using Mendix microflows and server actions;
- Assist in integrating data from various sources and systems into Mendix applications;
- Participate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues;
- Contribute to optimizing application performance and scalability for future growth;
- Stay up-to-date with Mendix updates, industry trends, and best practices.
Your skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience);
- Hands-on experience with the Mendix Platform or any other low-code platform (for example, PowerApps, Outsystems);
- Familiarity with low-code development principles and best practices;
- Basic knowledge of web-based languages (JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML);
- Understanding of web services (REST, SOAP);
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies;
- Good communication skills, particularly in collaborating with team members;
- Enthusiastic to learn and grow in the Mendix platform and related technologies;
- Mendix certifications (preferred, but not mandatory).
