The role:

    • A Technical Product Manager is responsible for Team and project Health. He/She is typically a person with a certain level of seniority and very good Soft Skills and technical skills. By no means he has to be the most senior of the team, but sure a high-tech level is presumed,  33% Tech, 33% product, 33% Lead/Management.
    • This role involves a combination of technical and product management skills, allowing TPMs to communicate effectively with development teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Be a role model of agile working, prioritise the roadmap while preparing new features for development together with your agile team.
    • Running 1:1s listening to the team, giving them your support and going with them in their professional and personal development
    • Follow an MVP approach to launch improvements with each iteration. As a committed team member you work tirelessly to ensure the team has a clear and prioritised backlog.
    • Work with design team, development team and client to ensure the product meets deadlines and quality standards.
    • Present new developments to your colleagues and stakeholders, including creative ways to teach the teams about the use and functionalities of new features. Translate business and customer needs into detailed technical requirements and functional specifications.
    • Help create a great atmosphere and strong connection within your team.
    • Hiring the best talent for your team, onboarding and off boarding.
    • Collaborate with the team to define technical requirements and ensure technical solutions are feasible and scalable, anticipate, identify and eliminate blockers in the team.
    • Inspire your team as much as your stakeholders and make sure everybody is aware of the vision and roadmap. Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate product and team success .
    • Play your part in creating a strong feedback culture where everybody feels enabled to provide each other with honest feedback and input.
    • Ensure Guidelines, Best Practices, quality and Architecture.
    • Responsible of sharing the knowledge and the team agreements between the team.

Requirements:

    • BA Degree in Computer Sciences (or FP) and/or professional experience in Software.
    • At least 5 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years as Team Lead and experience doing product manager role or similar.
    • Software engineering background. Experience with Java and/or python. Experience with Javascript.
    • Experience with testing tools like: jest, Cypress.
    • Experience with AWS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB.
    • Nice to have: Devops knowledge (Kubernetes, Azure, Openshit).
    • Experience shipping successful products, including defining vision, strategy, outcome-driven product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs.
    • Experience working in an Agile environment and Lean methodology.
    • Ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.
    • Nice to have: good German level.
