We are looking for a professional with a Fire Protection Expertise to contribute within our Engineering Team working alonge side with one of our Volkswagen Brands, in Valencia. 🚘
Your Responsabilities:
- Technical support on questions related to the preparation of a hazard assessment in connection with the Department of Sprinkler Technology.
- Accompanying the tender of the extinguishing system concept as well as automatic extinguishing systems.
- Technical support of the Fire Protection Task Force
- Technical interface coordination in the field of plant planning.
- Contacting specialist companies on the planning of sprinkler systems.
- Communication with the customer on a professional level.
- Preparing the technical comparison and evaluation of supplier offers.
- Preparing the planning of protection concepts for machines and plants.
Your Profile:
- At least 3 years of experience as Fire Protection Expert or similar role;
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar areas or professional experience within the role;
- Strong experienced within technical safety and fire protection;
- Have good knowledge of local (Valencia) dicipline relevant legislation;
- Excellent English and Spanish language skills both written and spoken;
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office products (Excel and PPT);
- Experience managing fire safety audits and Fire risk assessment programme;
- Sprinkler design according to the VdS CEA 4001 directive;
- Communication and teamwork skills, problem-solving skills and commitment.
