We are seeking a skilled Mendix Senior Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Mendix Senior Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Mendix applications that meet our clients' business needs. Your expertise in Mendix, along with your strong problem-solving skills, will contribute to the success of our projects.
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project objectives;
- Take a leading role in the implementation of the latest software initiatives for our clients;
- Design and develop Mendix applications using best practices and maintainable code;
- Create intuitive user interfaces using Mendix Studio or Mendix Studio Pro, ensuring a seamless user experience;
- Implement business logic and workflows using Mendix microflows and server actions;
- Integrate data from various sources and systems into Mendix applications;
- Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues;
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability for future growth;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, back-end developers, and designers;
- Stay up-to-date with Mendix updates, industry trends, and best practices.
Your skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience);
- A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience working with the Mendix Platform or any other low-code platform (for example, PowerApps, Outsystems) on enterprise-grade applications touching all layers from data modeling and integrations to business logic and UI;
- Solid understanding in Low code programming best practices and implementation;
- Deep knowledge in web-based languages (JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML);
- Hands-on experience working with SQL, relational databases, data integration and in API development;
- Strong understanding of web services (REST and SOAP);
- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Strong communication skills, mainly to collaborate with team members, and mentoring junior team members;
- Mendix certifications (preferred, but not mandatory);
- Knowledgeable in Cloud technologies (preferred AWS) is a plus.
