Side by side with MAN Truck & Bus, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles, we are hiring for a dedicated team in our Hub. 🚚

Thus transforming itself from a commercial vehicle manufacturer to a provider of intelligent and sustainable transport solutions.
About the Team:
To drive innovation and unlock the full potential of Software-Defined Vehicles, a User Experience Platform is essential for all TRATON brands. This platform serves as the backbone, weaving together multiple layers—from cloud based components to frontend components.
The heart of this initiative lies in simplifying complexity. By offering seamless, standardized APIs and a suite of versatile services, features, and tools, the platform empowers each brand to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional value to their customers and accelerating the launch of market-driven solutions.
We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive people to be part of the team responsible for kicking off this journey to deliver the first use case as a proof of concept in order to get more insights and that can evolve into a customer ready product.
Your Responsibilities:
- You are technically, economically and qualitatively responsible for the success of a digital product;
- You and your product team take care of existing features and develop new ones in DevOps mode;
- You will examine new concepts regarding technical, economic feasibility;
- You coordinate the stakeholders, other teams within an agile framework including the interfaces to the V-Model;
- You write user stories and transform complex problems into clear, understandable objectives. You will apply your (thought) leadership skills and continuously expand them;
- You are technically adept and feel comfortable in software development and system architecture.
Your Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of software engineering, with at least 3 as a Product Owner;
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or comparable job expertise;
- Your communication is proactive and user specific, you are used to communicate frequently to several audience groups/stakeholders;
- You like to work independently and are resilient;
- You have a combination of analytical skills and pragmatism, strong teamwork and creativity as well as presentation skills in English (German is a plus);
- You can confidently apply agile methods and tools in the SW development and innovation environment;
- You have experience with KPI’s in the SW Development environment;
- You can demonstrate experience with digital products, from idea to successful market launch, in an international context. Ideally, with a focus on IoT and connectivity in the automotive sector;
- Has an Agile and DevOps mindset;
- Experience with SAFe framework is a plus;
- Experience with Jira and Confluence;
- Certification as a Product Owner is required;
- Cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and tools for individual software development are not foreign to you and you know how to sort them correctly;
- Knowledge of a common programming language is desirable (e.g. Java, Katlin or Python);
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken;
- High level of self-organization and sense of ownership;
- Proactive in communicating and taking action;
- Curious, likes to investigate and understand how things work;
- Motivated by a strong passion to learn and continuously improve, solving problems in an innovative and pragmatic way;
- Communicate and collaborate with empathy and clarity - you care about supporting those around you.
