We are currently looking to grow our team with a IT Helpdesk Technician for our office in Palmela

Your Responsibilities:

    • Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests, providing excellent customer service.
    • Receive and log support requests, ensuring all necessary information is captured.
    • Maintain detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and system changes.
    • Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to end-users.
    • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
    • Provide basic troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance for hardware and software issues.
    • Escalate more complex technical issues to second-line IT support team and third-party vendors.
    • Assist in the setup and configuration of laptops, smartphones and user accounts (creation, permissions and access rights).
    • Managing and maintaining hardware and software inventory.
    • Follow established processes for incident management and service request fulfillment.
    • Maintain clear and accurate records of support interactions and resolutions.
    • Communicate with end-users to keep them informed about the status of their requests.
    • Collaborate with IT team members to improve knowledge sharing and support processes.
    • Other relevant tasks:
    • Provide ongoing support to the IT Helpdesk Specialist, assisting in various tasks

Your Skills:

    • High school diploma (minimum)
    • 1 year of experience in a similar role (mandatory)
    • Knowledge and experience in End User Support in large corporations
    • Familiarity with Active Directory, Remote Desktop, hardware
    • Fluent in English (C1)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
    • Basic knowledge in network and infrastructure
