About the role 💡

The Senior C++ Software Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, evolution and optimization of a whole sound real time application and all its different components. The candidate will participate in the conceptualization of the new functionalities, propose a design to make them reality according to good practices standards, and implement them keeping a constant eye on minimizing computational load and latency.

What you'll do 💼

    • You will contribute to creating next generation, professional audio processing products and tools;
    • You will collaborate on the conceptualization, design and implementation of new components for audio applications using C++;
    • Optimize new and existing code to aim for the lowest possible execution time and resource consumption;
    • You make sure produced code is well-performant in a variety of operating systems and devices;
    • You give and receive peer review feedback regarding your work as part of a C++ cross-team community;
    • You help tracking and analyzing incidents as part of a continual improvement process

What you'll need ✅

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or similar in Software Engineering, Mathematics, natural or computer science, or equivalent experience.
    • Professional experience as C++ developer for at least 5 years.
    • Knowledge of the language's latest standards and the willingness to keep yourself up to date with the latest developments.
    • Expertise on object oriented design, design patterns, and good programming practices.
    • Experience optimizing high computational load processes at low level and working in multi-thread environments.
    • Proficiency with version control (Git), continuous integration, unit testing tools and cross-platform build systems (CMake).
    • You excel at teamwork and are happy to give other team members help and support in those areas you master.

Bonus Points 🦄

    • You have audio and signal processing knowledge. You have worked in real-time low latency audio applications;
    • You have experience working with Qt;
    • You have experience creating applications for MacOS.

Hiring process ⚙️
Our interview process takes place on Google Meet and tends to consist of the following stages:
1️⃣ TA Team - Validate details, experience and tell you more about Voicemod (30min).
2️⃣ Hiring Manager - Give you a job overview and go deeper on your professional experience (60min).
3️⃣ Technical Interview - We’ll go deeper on your technical skills in a live coding session (120min).
4️⃣ Final Interview - Last conversation focused on soft skills and ways of working (60min).
