About The Role:

In the Marketing department, we are looking for a Senior Community Manager to grow our global community and keep it engaged. The CM will manage the day-to-day operational activities surrounding the reporting and administering of the product’s online community as well as developing strategic initiatives to take our community to the next levels. This role acts as the administrator for online communities. 

While working in a cross-functional team the Community Manager keeps the online community engaged and grows our active community base. This individual will effectively utilize knowledge of the product and community to contribute to Content Strategy.

What You'll Do

    • Develop and lead community strategy that will cultivate and nurture community-driven development, user-generated content, and engagement of the casual community members.
    • Collaborates with internal departments to ensure that community feedback is addressed
    • Act as key marketing stakeholder for Voicemod’s User-Generated-Content initiatives and help develop and accommodate the creative Community
    • Drives develop community events such as streams, developer interviews, user-generated content competitions, giveaways
    • Maintains consistent presence and promotes a user-friendly environment on community message boards
    • Collaborate with the Development, Brand, Product Marketing, Quality Assurance, and User Support teams to evolve our product and processes to better serve our customers & community
    • Helps conduct private and public tests to gather community feedback that will help improve final product quality
    • Drafts and distributes community reports including community reactions, sentiment, and feedback, metrics, and research; analyze the results
    • Assists with the company's involvement in trade shows, exhibitions, and other events
    • Builds and manages a network of volunteer Community Coordinators, Moderators, Artists and Testers
    • Works closely with the Content team, to contribute to the content strategy and gather user-generated content for the different social media channels

What You'll Need

    • 3+ years community management and/or social media management experience in B2C gaming required
    • Experience with community-driven development projects
    • Experience working with global communities (i.e. not a regional market)BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent experience
    • Technical knowledge of online community platforms, systems and software
    • Having developed scalable systems to grow and engage online communities previously
    • Strong understanding of popular social media and gaming trends
    • Knowledgeable on the latest technologies and techniques used in building and maintaining successful gaming communities
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Demonstrated initiative and positive spirit in a rapidly changing environment
    • Excellent spoken and written English paired with communication skills
    • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and familiarity with CMS systems
