About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be the primary owner of the day-to-day Order to Cash cycle, which includes managing Sales Orders, Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger, and Credit Control. This role serves as the key point of contact for customer inquiries and interactions with various internal teams. It presents an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on a critical role within our dynamic organization.
Ideal candidates should possess at least five years of experience in an Accounts Receivable team. This role is designed for someone seeking a broad range of responsibilities and challenges that go beyond standard transactional processing. It is a vital position within the organization, dealing with low transactional volumes and high-value invoices, which require an understanding of contractual complexities. The role involves significant interaction with foreign entities and collaboration with the Accounting, Sales, and Production teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Long-term career in Accounts Receivable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A team player who collaborates well with others.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with foreign entities.
- Knowledge of regime 40/42 post-Brexit.
- Foreign language skills (e.g., French, Spanish, Mandarin).
