About the role
Vision RT's regional office in India is seeking a Medical Physicist for a Clinical Application Specialist position (home-based) to support the EMEIA region. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both Hindi and English, with additional knowledge of regional Indian languages being a plus. The role involves delivering on-site clinical training and support during the "go live" process, as well as conducting training sessions both at the training centre and customer locations. The specialist will also assist with testing new product releases in a clinical environment, ensuring a variety of clinical scenarios are covered. Additionally, the role includes supporting Sales Managers by demonstrating products to prospective customers and providing comprehensive customer support through onsite visits, telephone, and remote assistance for Vision RT’s product range.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with existing customers to provide expert support and assistance in the clinical utilisation of Vision RT’s products.
- Close liaison with key customer sites to develop clinical protocols and to support the clinical adoption and development of new applications.
- Liaise with R&D to provide product feedback and recommendations for future improvements.
- Attend exhibitions and provide product demonstrations.
- Assist sales with product demonstrations at customer sites.
- Provide clinical applications training to customers either in-house, on-site or remotely.
- Coordinate or lead customer and/or employee training classes. May also conduct group presentations at seminars, training programs, and trade shows.
- Assist in creating support training information in the form of workflows, user guides, and e-learning courses.
- Provide phone support to customers and colleagues on the clinical operation of the Vision RT systems.
- Assist in generating customer Information bulletins (CIB), and in the tracking and delivery of those bulletins.
- Provide testing and feedback analysis to development staff on the new functionality of the software.
- Support distributors and other commercial partners in EMEIA on special occasions.
- Provide backup support in other regions as and when required
- Ability to travel 75% of working hours
- Some weekend work/travel expected (as required)
Essential Skills & Experience
- Medical Physicist certification
- 3 or more years of clinical experience in radiotherapy
- Commercial experience a plus
- Fluent in Hindi and English
- Advanced IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer-oriented and result-driven
- Self-sufficient and self-motivated
Desirable skills & experience
- Knowledge of other regional languages of India is a plus
- A driving license is a plus
- SGRT and/or AlignRT experience
