Key Responsibilities will include:
- Go through the software requirements and get clarifications on one’s doubts
- Become familiar with the software under test and any other software related to it
- Create the test plan
- Create test cases based on the requirements and other documents
- Expand functionality of Test Automation Framework (C# with FlaUI/Selenium and Specflow)
- Procure or create test data required for testing
- Set up the required test beds (hardware, software and network)
- Test software releases by executing tests (manual and/ or automated
- Log defects on defect management tool
- Create test evidences
- Provide clarification for the reassigned bugs (for example, when a bug report is returned as not reproducible)
- Re-test resolved defects
- Create test cases based on the discovered defects
- Provide inputs to the team in order to improve the test process
- Take active part in the design process
- Closely collaborate with other developers and Product Owner
- Support Offshore test resource in setting up test environment.
- Support the team with other activities as required, if any
Essential Skills and Experience:
- You will have come from a solid testing background with experience in manual and automation testing, including writing tests scripts from scratch
- Knowledge and/or experience with OOPs concepts
- 5+ years of software testing
- Working in agile environment & embedded domain is a must.
- Quality Management tools such as Matrix Requirements, SpiraTest, practices.
- Using tools supporting software development such as Azure DevOps
- Designing test case and logging defects
- Maintaining requirement traceability metrics
- Generating defect and test execution reports
- Exploratory testing and eye for identifying defects
- ISTQB Certification is Mandatory
