***Ability to travel extensively up to 50% in the following territories; South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama & Mississippi. The individual must be situated within this region**


About the role
 
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for all aspects of sales related activities in the territory including meeting sales and strategic objectives.  The RSM will represent the entire range of company products including service contracting to assigned customers, while ensuring assigned customer needs and expectations are met by the company.

Key Responsibilities will include

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned accounts
    • Design a strategic plan to meet or exceed sales objectives
    • Requires coordination of all communications, planning, and activities to advance business opportunities
    • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned key accounts
    • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including but not limited to clinical support, field service, marketing and market development manager, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customer’s expectations
    • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within the territory
    • Identify physician thought leaders within the network and develop a close relationship to drive sales objectives
    • Drive system upgrade sales to increase clinical adoption and customer satisfaction
    • Attend local, regional, and national meetings
    • Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame

Essential Skills & Experience

    • Proven track record of successful sales in Medical Device (preferably radiation oncology)
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented with a professional demeanour that is both strategic and proactive
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ sales experience in Medical Device or similar
    • Proven track record of successful complex capital equipment sales. Strong Hunter adept at continuous prospecting, identification and cultivation of sales opportunities with existing centres and new prospects alike utilizing a consultative approach.
    • Passionate team player who is collaborative and works well with cross-functional teams
    • Strong presentation and social selling (LinkedIn, Twitter) skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Ability to routinely negotiate price, terms of transactions, and contractual agreements.
    • Knowledge of IDN and healthcare systems throughout the region

Desirable Skills & Experience

    • Strong connections with key contacts in radiation oncology in the assigned territory desirable
