Factory Supervisor

About the role
Reporting to the UK Production manager, the Beijing Factory Supervisor will ensure the safe operation of the factory inclusive of Goods in, assembly, test packing and shipping. Responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and in line with company targets.
You will have strong team management and planning skills, be responsible for planning, organising, and supervising the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, managing costs, and driving continuous improvement efforts
Key responsibilities will include
- Developing production plans and schedules to meet business demands and optimize resources.
- Coordinate with other departments in the UK and China, such as operations, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth production flow.
- Allocate resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, effectively to achieve production targets.
- Maintain high product standards and minimize defects or errors.
- Collaborating with the quality assurance team to address any quality-related issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Preparing regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Production manager in the UK
