About the Role
 
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Treasury, Risk & Project Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a key role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of critical financial processes. You will manage treasury operations, oversee financial risk, and lead finance transformation projects that enhance strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

As part of William Demant Invest, our goal is to elevate Finance capability to a level comparable with a listed entity. The business is growing rapidly and undergoing a significant systems transformation to replace legacy platforms.
 

Key Responsibilities

    • Treasury Management: Oversee daily cash flow management and forecasting to ensure optimal liquidity.
    • Treasury Management: Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with treasury policies.
    • Treasury Management: Monitor and report on cash positions, investments, and debt facilities.
    • Treasury Management: Support FX risk management and develop a credible 12-month rolling cashflow forecast.
    • Treasury Management: Implement an integrated cashflow forecasting system aligned with financial and non-financial data.
    • Treasury Management: Provide updates to Group on dividend expectations and cashflow deviations.

    • Risk: Support Finance Directors in introducing an overarching risk management process.
    • Risk: Identify, assess, and monitor financial and operational risks.
    • Risk: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies with key stakeholders.
    • Risk: Maintain and enhance internal controls and compliance frameworks.
    • Risk: Perform biannual risk assessments.

    • Finance Transformation: Drive transition from UK GAAP to IFRS (2025–2026).
    • Finance Transformation: Collaborate on Salesforce integration into financial systems (2025–2027).
    • Finance Transformation: Support implementation of a new ERP system (2027–2028).
    • Finance Transformation: Assist with potential acquisitions, including financial modelling and due diligence.
    • Finance Transformation: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling to support global business decisions.

Essential Skills & Experience

    • ACA/CA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years’ experience in financial planning, business partnering, or commercial finance.
    • Strong knowledge of cashflow forecasting, treasury, and change management.
    • Advanced Excel skills (including pivots, lookups, index/match) and financial modelling expertise.
    • Proven ability to manage large, complex datasets and deliver insightful reporting.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
