About the role

 

***This role requires up to 80-90% travel across ASEAN region (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam)

 

The Application Specialist will be responsible for providing clinical expertise, training, and support to hospitals, clinics, and distributors in this region

 

This role will focus on helping radiation oncology teams integrate Vision RT’s Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT) solutions into their workflow, ensuring optimal

system utilisation and driving adoption across the region.

 

This position requires a strong clinical background in Radiation Therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with medical professionals and distributors to expand Vision RT’s presence in these key markets.

Key Responsibilities will include

  •  Customer Training & Clinical Support
  • Conduct on-site and remote training for medical physicists, radiation therapists, and oncologists on AlignRT, SimRT, and other Vision RT products.
  • Assist in the clinical implementation and workflow optimisation of SGRT technology.
  • Product Demonstration & Pre-Sales Support
  • Deliver product demonstrations and clinical presentations to potential customers in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar.
  • Participate in hospital visits, clinical workshops, and industry events to promote Vision RT solutions.
  • Customer Engagement & Market Expansion
  • Build and maintain relationships with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, therapists, and hospital administrators.
  • Work closely with distributors and local partners to provide clinical training and support for their teams.
  • Market Development & Industry Engagement
  • Promote SGRT and Vision RT’s solutions at regional industry conferences, symposiums, and workshops.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master's or PhD in Medical Physics
  • 2+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Physicist.
  • Strong training and presentation skills, with the ability to engage different stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English

Desirable skills & Experience

  • Passion for advancing Radiation Therapy and improving patient care in Southeast Asia.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the sales and support teams.
  • Experience with Varian, Elekta, or Accuray radiotherapy equipment is beneficial.
  • Experience with SGRT, AlignRT, or other advanced radiation therapy technologies is a plus.
  • Mandarin or any language within the ASEAN region
