About the Role: 

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Administrator or Coordinator to join our team, with the opportunity to support your career growth if you’re currently an HR Administrator. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply and expand their HR skills in a collaborative and supportive setting. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering essential support to the HR function, contributing to our team’s success.

Key Responsibilities will include:

    • Managing onboarding and supporting the new starter process for all employees including the offer stage, pre-employment checks, right to work checks and co-ordinating the monthly onboarding programme
    • Updating and maintaining the HRIS with accurate employee data
    • Support employees and managers with day-to-day queries and escalate to HR Business Partners as appropriate.
    • Superuser on the HR system and assisting users with any system related queries and resolving issues
    • Maintain accurate records on the HR system and personnel files and process personal data sensitively and in accordance with data protection principles with regards to confidentiality and storage
    • Updating payroll instructions and work alongside the Payroll Coordinator with regards to monthly payroll
    • Liaising with benefits providers on all benefits administration – adding, removing, updating employee details and all renewals of the benefits.
    • Manage the offboarding including supporting with exit interviews with leavers and feedback issues/ideas as required
    • Follow established procedures where available and contribute to development of new and existing procedures as appropriate
    • Provide advice on Company policies and procedures to employees and line managers accordingly
    • Supporting the annual performance appraisal process cycle including ensuring all data is up to date and correct through to the preparation of letters for employees
    • Liaising with managers and preparing letters for probationary reviews
    • Collaborate with HR team on project work
    • Support in reporting HR metrics
    • Any additional ad hoc duties as required

Essential Skills & Experience

    • Experience working in a HR Administrator role
    • Minimum A level as a minimum. Ideally level 3 qualified, though this is not required and support can be provided with any qualifications.
    • Some experience of working with systems is highly beneficial
    • Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal with the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation
    • Excellent organisation, prioritisation skills with a keen eye for detail
    • Strong PC / database skills (MS Office)
    • Proactive team player
    • Discrete and confidential
    • Passionate to progress a career in HR

Desirable Skills & Experience

    • The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role; preferably working towards CIPD, though this is not required
    • Experience with HiBob
