About the role
 
This position plays a vital role in supporting hardware and service sales by managing complex order processing, quote administration, and CRM data integrity. The processes involved are often intricate and include numerous exceptions, requiring a flexible and adaptable mindset to navigate effectively. The role involves close collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure smooth workflows and strict adherence to company policies. It also provides frontline user support for the CRM system, helping drive adoption and effective usage.

The current CRM is a bespoke, internally developed system not widely available on the market. As part of ongoing transformation, the company is migrating to Salesforce, and this role will be instrumental in supporting that transition.

Key Responsibilities will include:

    • Accurately process and track hardware and service orders, often involving exception handling
    • Manage and update sales quotes in alignment with dynamic business requirements
    • Maintain high-quality, reliable data within the CRM system
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
    • Provide CRM user support, training, and troubleshooting assistance
    • Navigate and manage multiple applications simultaneously, including frequent copy/paste and data transfer between systems
    • Ensure tasks are completed within defined SLA timeframes and turnaround expectations
    • Support the upcoming migration from the bespoke CRM to Salesforce, including data validation and user enablement
    • Learn new systems and processes quickly, including the ability to be trained remotely and apply knowledge independently

Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Strong proficiency in CRM systems, with experience in Salesforce
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
    • Solid understanding of the Windows environment and multitasking across applications
    • Ability to manage complex workflows and adapt to evolving scenarios
    • Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
    • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
    • Resilience and flexibility in handling exceptions and non-standard cases
    • Proven ability to work under time constraints and meet SLA-driven deadlines
    • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and effectively, including remote training environments
